Description
Explore southern Greece from the saddle of your motorcycle. Ride along winding coastal roads, ascend mountain peaks with breathtaking views, and uncover hidden gems off the beaten tourist path.
The Peloponnese is an ancient land, home to some of the earliest roots of Greek civilization—the cradle of Western culture. Here, Byzantine cities were built with stunning works of art, and for nearly 500 years, the Venetians fortified the region with castles and coastal outposts. For a brief period in the early 19th century, the Peloponnese even served as the first capital of Greece after gaining independence from the Ottomans.
Our journey will take us through picturesque stone villages, agricultural fields, and lush forests. Departing from Athens, we’ll ride for about an hour before crossing the Corinth Canal bridge into the southern heart of Greece—the Peloponnese Peninsula.
Covering an area roughly the size of Israel, the Peloponnese boasts towering peaks, with the highest reaching approximately 2,405 meters above sea level—taller than Mount Hermon’s highest peak in Israel, which stands at 2,236 meters.
The Peloponnese is one of Greece’s most remarkable regions, where ancient and modern Greek culture blend seamlessly with stunning coastlines, towering mountain ranges, winding scenic roads, charming villages, traditional tavernas, and the warm hospitality of the locals.
